
The College Scholarship Applications project is funded by the EC via the Marie Curie Initial Training Network project “Mid-Frequency”, and will involve collaboration with European Universities, Research Establishments, and Industry. The aim of the project is to develop robust computational methods for vibration prediction in systems that are sensitive to uncertainties. The College Scholarship Applications successful candidate will have a PhD degree in a relevant area or have at least four years, but no more than five years of research experience. Under the funding regulations, candidates cannot have spent more than 12 months in the UK in the last three years; UK nationals can only apply if they have spent at least three of the last four years on a non-Associated third country. The College Scholarship Applications position is for one year with a start date of 1 September 2011. Applications should be made by 12 May 2011.
