The MRC Career Development Award College Scholarship Applications

The College Scholarship Applications scheme also provides a jointly funded postdoctoral award in partnership with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Eligibility Details:

College Scholarship Applications Applicants must have a PhD or DPhil and have at least three to six years' post-doctoral experience at the time of the application deadline, although applications with more than six years post-doctoral experience will also be considered in exceptional circumstances. The application of existing research fellow MRC and post-doctoral researchers returning from abroad are very welcome. Applicants who hold an MSc research oriented and has done graduate work right at least four years of research - such as in medical statistics - may be considered.

The Berlin Summer School of Social Science International Program College Scholarship Applications

College Scholarship Applications Summer school is designed for PhD candidates who have started planning their doctoral project in detail or are working on them. Marie Curie Experienced Researcher College Scholarship Applications

The College Scholarship Applications project is funded by the EC via the Marie Curie Initial Training Network project “Mid-Frequency”, and will involve collaboration with European Universities, Research Establishments, and Industry. The aim of the project is to develop robust computational methods for vibration prediction in systems that are sensitive to uncertainties. The College Scholarship Applications successful candidate will have a PhD degree in a relevant area or have at least four years, but no more than five years of research experience. Under the funding regulations, candidates cannot have spent more than 12 months in the UK in the last three years; UK nationals can only apply if they have spent at least three of the last four years on a non-Associated third country. The College Scholarship Applications group of Matthias Kieslinger at the Helmholtz Center Munich (Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics) has identified Ebf proteins in the support of haematopoietic stem cells (Kieslinger et al., 2010). We use novel techniques in mouse genetics to further examine the role of these proteins.
